How to calculate a grade

Convert earned points into a percentage and letter grade, or estimate what you need on remaining work to reach a target.

Steps

  1. Enter points earned and points possible.
  2. Review the percentage result and displayed letter band.
  3. Use Goal mode to work backwards from your desired course percentage.
Example

Example: 45 points out of 50 equals 90%.

Formula / method

Grade percentage = earned points ÷ possible points × 100.
