How working days are counted

Count weekdays between dates or find a target date after a specified number of working days.

Steps

  1. Enter the date range.
  2. Add holidays you want excluded.
  3. Use Goal mode to move forward or backward by a number of working days.
Example

Example: Monday through Friday contains five weekdays when both endpoints are included by the selected counting rule.

Formula / method

Working days exclude Saturday and Sunday plus any holidays you explicitly provide.
